  13. Resolved Question: My Cousins Wife?
  14. 23 May 2008 at 11:11am
I'm very down, because I'm in love with my cousins wife, the thing is we have so many things in common, Our taste in music, our sense of humor, I feel I should of known along time ago. Now my cousin has had to cases of infidelity against her and yet she still stays with him, don't get me wrong I love my cousin, but I don't think because of his two accounts, and including he's been incarcerated (reasons I'll keep personal) he deserves a woman like her. I know I'm wrong from feeling this way, and in the beginning when she was first intorduced to the family we had a instant connection, so is it possible the (God, Nature, Destiny, whatever you wanna call it), had her for me and because of my own past faults she was given to him,? I'll take all answers cause honostly I need something else to think about...instead of her.

  15. Resolved Question: Hey girls what do you think this girl and I...?
  16. 23 May 2008 at 10:36am
Hey one of my friends Will has a friend, well he is graduating, but his friend is a really sweet gal. We started talking and she really likes my funny animated humor. Like she smiles and so do I and we talk and all, I said that we need some sort of connection via phone or net, so should we start being boyfriend and girlfriend or just start out as longer term friends. We seem to smile a lot at each other.

  22. 23 May 2008 at 5:24am
Ok people, I'm going on hour 14 of a 16 hour shift at work and I'm bored out of my mind! So here's something to humor myself for a short time :) 10 points to the first person to type 3 full sentences.....about anything you like.... Here's the kicker... They have to be properly capitalized, punctuated and spelled! It seems a lot of people on here have a hug problem with that! So, tell me something interesting and make it pretty :)

  23. Resolved Question: What do you think about this?! I think this may humor you!?
  24. 23 May 2008 at 12:57am
Ashlee Simpson called Britney spears trashy, not once but twice. Well Britney was married before any baby rumors came up for one. And two Ashlee Flashed pete wentz the first time she met him! Pot calling the kettle black! I agree! Britney is a normal human being. If i thought my kids were being beaten by my ex, I'd lock them in a closet with me too! People think that's crazy, I think it's protecting you children. Ashlee should look in the mirror and examine herself before saying anything about anyone! I love the jonas brothers, I didn't mean to give you a low rating. I pressed it accidently! Sorry I liked your answer!

  25. Resolved Question: i cant focus on anything in my life. how can i turn it aro...
  26. 23 May 2008 at 12:37am
so i go to school every day. but i hate it. i do all the work and get good grades, but ive been bored and tired in every day of class. and i dont even participate. i just cant make myself do it anymore. i used to. i work out a lot. but im not into it. i have a good sense of humor so i tried improv comedy and stand up comedy. they said i was a natural, and laughing at stuff i would say, but i couldnt figure out what kind of approach i needed so i could not stay focused. i was always starting my material like 30 minutes before the class started, so it always sucked. i just had no willpower to do it. ive had 3 jobs and i tried at all of them for a little while but i couldnt make any friends and them and no one liked my work, so i lost interest and stopped trying. and got fired at all of them. girls just get rid of me out of nowhere. ive been dumped 4 times randomly. yet somehow, i still see a positive future. i just have no direction, and i cant figure out how to use my comedic talents.

  27. Resolved Question: Mixed feelings about this girl?
  28. 22 May 2008 at 11:35pm
okay prom was this past saterday, and as of last wed. i wasnt going, than my friend comes up with a girl and introduces us and sets us up as prom dates cause we both needed one, so we went to prom and after prom and hung out and talked and i realized how alike we are, we are majoring in the same thing our schools next year are only an hour appart, we like the same bands, and corney humor, and we hung out all day monday (senior skip day) and she seemed to be sent from God to me, and than the next day one of my friends approces her, who she knows a little, but not like BFFs, and than they get on the subject of me and she says she knows i like her, but she sees us to be best friends, and now she told me and im crushed, should i still try? is it worth it could she have said that cause she didnt know my friend that well? i know thats what i would have done....so what would u do? Thanks in advance

  29. Resolved Question: I feel like my boyfriend and I aren't striving for a more ...
  30. 22 May 2008 at 11:35pm
My boyfriend is a wonderfully loving person. We are great together, have a great sense of humor, and share a deep love. But i am a student and he is a working professional and this causes conflicts with time and with my family, (they don;t believe that it is a healthy relationship). for the past few months we've only been able to see each other 1-2 times a week.We have fun, but we don't get the chance to do anything new or substantial to our growth as intellectuals or as human beings even. We sleep, eat, have great sex, and talk over the phone. I love spending time with him, but I want a new routine, and i want him to want something more too. I'm afraid that i can't offer him more, as i am busy with school and just trying to find my piece of mind. he is much older and in a different place in life. What is the right and healthier thing to do? Let him have a relationship with someone that can offer things i cant as a young person, or stay with him because we are and could be very happy?

  31. Resolved Question: What to wear to a job interview?
  32. 22 May 2008 at 9:36pm
Before the interview, should you dress up to get an application, too (because they might interview you on the spot), or should you dress up but not so much so it seems like you expect an interview, etc? I'm a petite and a size 0, so it's hard to find clothes, sometimes. I've looked up a lot of possible ideas, but I'm still unsure. I'm going to apply for a bookstore or retail position (should you dress different or the same does the same dress code apply for this) and I want to look professional, but also stylish, too. Are accessories kept to a minimal a no or is it better to have a few? And I have long hair, is it okay to keep it down or at least wear a headband-- if I do dress up my hair, is it okay to have anything like a bow or flowers? I want to convey honesty and that I'm a hard worker, but also have a sense of humor and are kind and fun to be around, too. I have some black pants, but I don't want to go overboard with black or all one color, either. Thanks!

  33. Resolved Question: How can I be a Christian when I don't want to lose myself?
  34. 22 May 2008 at 9:31pm
There are things about my old life that I don't want. Addiction. Anger. Hatred. I'm happy to have overcome these things. But I have what is considered by many as a "dark & twisted" sense of humor. I like to speak my mind, even if it means shocking people. I say many things that others consider "non-Christian". I like to go out on Friday nights. I like BEING MYSELF. I know that being a Christian involves becoming a "new creation" in Christ. How can I be a new creation and maintain my sense of self? I just want to address that I'm over all of my "issues", and have been for years. Before I ever became religious, actually. I'm just tired of being told that I'm not growing in my spiritual walk because everything about my character hasn't changed.

  35. Resolved Question: Which Beatle is the funniest in "A Hard Day's Night"?
  36. 22 May 2008 at 9:24pm
I think John Lennon is the funniest followed by Ringo Starr.. I love them ALL and think their all funny in the movie, but I love John Lennon's humor in the movie, and how Ringo Starr always dances so cute and funny with his big smile and head bopping around.

  37. Resolved Question: Am i being a horrible person? please answer!?
  38. 22 May 2008 at 9:14pm
in my previous question i posted that i am 21 years old and i'm a student teacher in a high school, i am currently observing a senior class so they're all 18 and i'm beginning to develope feelings for one of the students. right now i'm going to do my best to stay away from her so i don't do anything stupid but anyways i decided to go to the school's poetry night and i went an hour earlier to see if i could help out and when i got there i saw the student who i'm developing feelings for was there as well. the librarian told me that she helps out with poetry night every year. as we were setting up we began to talk and realized that we have a lot in common, we like the same books, authors, and classes and we had a very intellectual conversation and that just made me like her even more. and to make matters even more complicated she was hosting poetry night which made her charm and humor even more noticable and that also made me like her even more. am i being horrible? what should i do?

  39. Resolved Question: Young Adult Fiction PLEASE!?
  40. 22 May 2008 at 8:59pm
Im in desparate need of a good young adult fiction! I like ones that are kind of fantasy-ish.Like the kind that could never ever really happen, not the ones that are just about teens life. I like humor, action/adventure, romance, etc.PleaseHelpMe!Oh, and I know it sounds stupid, but I usually only read books that are a part of a series only.I don't really like books that are too girly, but I recently was pursuaded (forced by the threat of death by butter knife) to read a book, that not only was about cheerleaders, not only had a blonde on front (no offense) but also was PINK (shudder); and I ended up loving it. It was called The Squad (1) Perfect Cover ( no. 2 is Killer Spirit i believe) by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. Though the summary seems really cliche and lame, it was the most hilarious book I've read all year.Seriously laugh out loud. Please give it a chance. Also, so was The Mediator Series. And please dont suggest obvious books like Twilight or Harry Potter (which both sucked) Thanks!

I just opened a law firm called Weinstein Heimlich and Maneuver. We'll defend you against violation notices and God forbid suspensions. In hard cases we always plea bargained our way out. Call 1-800 OMG I am so good and I cant believe people have no humor. This is not a soliciting matter, its commerce you know. This program is meant for educational purposes only. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead is purely coincidental. Void where prohibited. Some assembly required.

  55. Resolved Question: Who else hates internet memes?
  56. 22 May 2008 at 4:32pm
I personally cannot stand memes like Chuck Norris jokes, cat related humor, bad and unintelligible misspelling (especially when it is intentional), etc. I think they are stupid and anti-intellectual, and are just a sign of the stupidity and ignorance of the modern era. What do you think?

  57. Resolved Question: I feel like my friend doesn?t respect my sexuality?
  58. 22 May 2008 at 4:23pm
My friend and I went to go see a movie yesterday. The whole time at the theaters she kept leaning toward me, sometimes her head on my shoulder for a second. We both were whispering jokes about the characters. And she giggled the whole time. She always laughs at my quick witted humor. Some of my friends do too. But mostly her, even when the joke isn?t that funny she still giggles. One part in the movie was a romantic scene and she hates those scenes. She acts like a 5 year old when a couple kisses she will say "OMG, ewww". She poked my arm when the characters looked at each other lovely dovey like. (She always pokes my arm randomly, just to annoy me,) so when she did that I ignored it because I knew she wasn?t trying to get my attention. I don?t understand why she was acting that way toward me, she always does. She knows I am bi sexual and that I liked her but that was last year. She was fine with it and respects my sexuality, because she is confused about her self too. I slowly am getting over her and I don?t want to be with her because it might jeopardize the friendship. Was she making fun of my sexuality? I feel like she was.

  59. Resolved Question: What do you look for in a guy?

  61. Resolved Question: How can I get myself a date?
  62. 22 May 2008 at 3:27pm
Im 19 almost 20 and I never been out on a date. I dont believe that there is anything really wrong with me. I have a good sense of humor, average body type, can be very intellectual, and am very hygenic (i dont smell). Im a shy guy so I have trouble even asking anyone out but I dont even have anyone giving me any signs that they want me to anyway. Im really tired of always being alone and just hanging out with my friends (when they have time). Is there something I can try to have girls show interest or aleast boost my confidence so as to ask anyone out? I do like a couple girls one at school and another at work that I'd like to ask out but they're already going out with someone else so I have to move on or wait it out. I've tried hanging out with some girls at school but not long after I meet them they start dating someone then expect me to be friends with their new bf.

  63. Voting Question: am i over him. do i still like him?
  64. 22 May 2008 at 3:16pm
i once liked this guy on the football team.he was everything i ever wanted in a guy.and he had a great sense of humor. and i often wondered if fate had it that ours signs matched-sagg+gemini. i wasted 2 yrs of my life liking him. i closed out all my other options. b/c i knew if i couldn't have him, i couldn't have anynone. but i figured out, he didn't like mee, so i moved on to someone who would return the feelings. and FINALLY i met this perfect guy who is way cuter, nicer, sweeter, toned than my old crush. and we hit it off pretty good. i could feel we had chemistry and there was a connection between us that wasn't just physcially. i could tell him anything and i know he wouldn't think i was stupidd. i was so happy that i finally got over my old crush and could move on w/ my life. but NOW i see my old crush all the time. and the feelings i once had for him are starting to come back. and everytime i see him talking to othe girls i feel a tinsy winsy bit jealouss. but i don't won't to feel this way. i was just starting to get over him

  65. Resolved Question: Do Republicans and Evangelicals report more on Yahoo than?
  66. 22 May 2008 at 3:08pm
all other users? I feel like Voltaire in the Bastille sometimes. Tell the truth and it makes them look ridiculous, and mad as hell. They seem to cringe under humor, and reach for that report button. Are Bush & evangelicals the new monarch and Inquisition, and Yahoo the censor and jailer? What'd we fight the revolution for anyhow, if we're going to be retrograded to this? Ecraze la Enfame (Voltaire) Crush the Infamy! Evangelicals were in bed with Bush big time, how could one forget? No different than church-state collusion in the 18th century. That's why the revolutionaries separated church & state, until the GOP neocons, Rowe, and evangelicals came along. Woe are we. Yes, I know truth seems like a strange commodity for GOPers to trade in, since they never do (fabrications & perjuries their stock in trade), but alas, the remainder of us still try to get the center of civilized society to hold.

  68. 22 May 2008 at 2:49pm
Will you tell CNN to take responsibility for their on-air talent? Is it ever acceptable to use the term "bitch" (to describe a woman? CNN political contributor Alex Castellanos seems to think it is. On Wednesday's edition of The Situation Room, moments after CNN senior legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin referred to a column in The New York Times that "talked about some of the humor in the campaign, and the punch line was a line that was -- that Hillary Clinton was a 'white bitch,'" Castellanos asserted, "And some women, by the way, are named that and it's accurate." Hard to believe? You can check out the Media Matters for America item below or watch the video for yourself here. It's time to hold CNN and Castellanos accountable for his horribly sexist remarks. I hope you'll take a moment to contact CNN today and demand an on-air apology from Castellanos. >> Make your voice heard -- Contact CNN today and demand an on-air apology. http://mediamatters.org/action_center/castellanos/?src=20080522_castellanos-03

  78. 22 May 2008 at 11:46am
When someone you love dies you don?t just lose them at once you lose them in pieces overtime. What I remember most from this day was his smile and how he could walk into a room and make everyone stop in their tracks. This past week my best friend (name), passed away leaving behind friends and family that truly cared for him. (name) was a former 2007 Greece Graduate. He was well known for his sense of humor and big heart. I'm not to sure on what to say next any ideas im going mind blank. thanks

i've been single for a while now. i guess i'm a little picky. i have a rough idea of exactly what i want, but i've come to realize i won't find that guy for quite sometime. somtimes i get kind of lonely, so i've decided to settle for a less serious relationship for the time being. the problem is i'm not good at settling, i can immediatly identify all the reasons we're wrong together & have a hard time beliving this could be worth while. the guy i've just started dating is real cute & sweet. i'm comfortable around him & we have fun together. but here are the problems. though he doesn't drink or smoke, he's a big partier, i like people but i'm not THAT social. i have to dumb myself down for him, he doesn't get my more sopphisticated language & humor. i run very deep in thought & he's not at all introspective. i think i'm more of a man then he is, he constantly needs his ego stroked & neglects charming me. he whines about the distance he has to drive for me & insists we take turns. it's not that i even care that much about driving. i would have offered anyway. but it shouldn't matter to him, this early in a relatioship, he should just feel so lucky to have me 3 hours would be worth the drive(we live an hour apart) please help. is this worth persuing?

  99. Resolved Question: Does the Hancock-Best Buy commercial with the whale bother...
  100. 22 May 2008 at 3:15am
I don't get it. There's a dying whale on a beach. Hancock picks it up by the tail and throws it like 100's of feet away and into the air, then someone made the decision to have it land on a boat in the ocean, a family captures it with a Best Buy camera. Why would you do this to an animal, let alone for advertising? I understand this is fiction, it's not real, it was computer-made, BUT the commercial says a lot about two companies who use a dying whale in order to sell a product. Why choose a living creature, why not something inanimate? There were other options besides a whale! That whale would have died from that kind of throw and fall, which makes it all the more unrealistic that a hero would choose to toss it like a ball of paper into the trash. What would Will Smith's kid ask? Daddy why'd you throw the Whale into the air?!!! Because of this commercial, I'm not seeing the film. Maybe I just dont get the humor BUT I USUALLY DO, i'm not a pessimistic person or a peta member.< >
